Pre order opens on Tuesday 24th September at 10am (Sydney time) but we wanted to give you a quick overview of the differences between the Life Designer styles here! There are four styles for 2020: Desktop Daily, Compact Daily, Signature Weekly and Compact Weekly. All the styles have the following:
- 2020 and 2021 Yearly Planners
- 2020 Vision Board
- Monthly Tabs
- Monthly Title and Quote page
- Monthly Calendar View
- a Pocket
- a few Notes and Ideas page at the back
- gold corner protectors (except the Black cloth cover)
- Bucket List and Password / Account Logins List
- a gift box
- two sticker sheets
- cotton protective bag
- Gift-buying and Books to Read / Movies to Watch Lists
- Special Dates for Australia, NZ, UK, Canada and USA
The main differences are in the size and the layout - week to an opening or day to a page.
Both our Daily Life Designers have: top 3 priorities section, 6am-10pm schedule, a long to-do list, health section for breakfast, lunch, dinner and exercise tracking and a notes section. There are separate pages for Saturday and Sunday.\
Both our Weekly Life Designers have: a weekly goal and weekly to-do list, top 3 priorities area, box for evening plans / meal plans / important things to remember and to-do list with equal space given to Saturday and Sunday.
The Desktop Daily Life Designer is our largest and most comprehensive planner. It has a page for each day (including separate Saturday and Sunday pages), Vision Board, Monthly Overview, Monthly Goals, Monthly Habit Tracker and Monthly Budget. The Health section is built in to the daily layout with an area for meal and exercise tracking. It has three ribbon page markers and lay flat book binding. Due to its size (184x248x35mm) and weight (1.2kg) it is most suited to leaving on your desk or kitchen table. It does fit in a large handbag but is heavy so not great for carrying around every day.
For 2020, the Desktop Daily has a revamped Monthly Budget, the addition of Monthly Goals and Monthly Habit Tracker (replacing Goal Action Plans) and an extra ribbon page marker.
The Compact Daily Life Designer is a great alternative to the Desktop Daily if you need to carry your Life Designer with you out and about. It has the exact same features as the Desktop Daily but is smaller in size and weight and comes in a 6 month edition rather than 12 months. It has a page for each day (including separate Saturday and Sunday pages), Vision Board, Monthly Overview, Monthly Goals, Monthly Habit Tracker and Monthly Budget. The Health section is built in to the daily layout with an area for meal and exercise tracking. There are 6 monthly calendars in a separate tabbed section at the back so you can mark down future dates. It has three ribbon page markers and lay flat book binding. The page size is A5 (cover is 154mm x 218mm x 22mm) and it weighs only 530g so it is suitable for small / medium handbags and taking with you on the go.
For 2020, the Compact Daily has had two main changes: it is now a true A5 page size and it has been divided into two volumes: January-June and July-December. You can purchase just one volume or both as a twin pack. It also has an extra ribbon page marker.
The Signature Weekly is our original Life Designer with a very comprehensive health section. It has a week over two page layout, a Vision Board, Monthly Overview, Monthly Goals, Monthly Habit Tracker and Monthly Budget as well as the Health section. The Health section has dated meal and exercise planning pages in a separate tabbed section at the back. It has an exposed gold spiral binding and gold elastic band closure. Due to its size (180x213x33mm) and weight (600g) it is most suited to leaving on your desk or carrying around in a medium or large handbag.
For 2020, the biggest change to the Signature Weekly is a new and improved gold spiral binding which stops the cover getting jammed at any point. The meal and exercise planning pages are also now in a separate Health section at the back (rather than dispersed in between the weeks) and they are dated for each week. They have also been revamped with one page per week instead of two making the planner lighter and smaller overall to carry without changing the page size. There is also a revamped Monthly Budget, and the addition of Monthly Goals and Monthly Habit Tracker (replacing Goal Action Plans). The Signature Weekly comes in three cover options: Wild Garden, Peony and Summer Days - it doesn't come in the Black cloth cover due to the binding.
The Compact Weekly is our smallest and lightest Life Designer. It has a week over two pages, a Vision Board, Monthly Overview, Monthly Goals, Monthly Habit Tracker and Monthly Budget as well as a Monthly Meal and Exercise Planner. Due to its size (154x218x19mm) and weight (490g) it is suitable for small handbags and taking with you on the go.
For 2020, the Compact Weekly has become slightly taller and wider with a true A5 page size. There is also an extra ribbon page marker. We hope that helps you choose the 2020 Amelia Lane Life Designer which works best for you! xo
